AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO EMPLOY AN
ARCHITECT TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR REMODELING OF
THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AT ADAMS FIELD; DECLARING AN.EMERGENCY ;.
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCS, ARKANSASs
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorised
to hold an appropriate examination, and based thereon, to employ.

person or persons so employed shall prepare plans and speoifioa-
tions for the remodeling of the Administration Building at Adams
Field.
SECTION 2. Because the efficient operation of the Municipal
Airport required that the Administration Building be of maximum
usefulness; and because the preparation of plans and speoifioa-
tions for the remodeling of the Administration Building is vital
to the continuing usefulness of Adams Field, an emergency is
_hereby declared to exist and this ordinance, being necessary for
f the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
