AN 'ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $350.00 OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND IN PAY-
' RENT TO TOM HARDING, SR. TO BE APPLIED ON ARCHITECT'S FEE; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Affairs has employed Tom Harding,'
Sr.., to prepare certain plans and specifications for the remodeling
and
the Administration Building at the Municipal.Airport,. and
IfiMEAS, certain plans and specifications have been prepared,
WHEREAS, some payment should now be made to the architect pre-
paring said plans and specifications, now therefor
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00)
is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas to be paid to Tom Harding, Sr-. to be applied on the
fee of Tom Harding, Sr. for his services in preparing plans and
specifications for the remodeling of the Administration Building at

the warrant-of the City in the amount named to Tom Harding, Sr.,
drawn on the Fund mentioned.
SECTION 2. Because the Administration Building at the Municipal
Airport is in need of remodeling in order that the Airport may be of,
increased efficiency; and because the remodeling of the building
calls for the preparation of plans and specifications and a prompt
payment therefor, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the publio psaoe,
health and. safety, shall be in full force and effect from and after-
