ORDINANCE NO. 665
i AN ORDINANCXn <`AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
I TO PURCHASE IN THE MANNER PROVIDED BY LAW CERTAIN APPARATUS FOR TH8
USE OF THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF_LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
One 500 gallon Pumper at a cost not to exceed
#6 , 500.00 .
SECTION 2. Payment for the apparatus, the purchase of -which is
authorized in Section 1 of this ordinance, shall be made out of the
General Funds of the City of Little Rook.
j SECTION 3. Because the Fire Department needs the apparatus
mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance in order to . give the aitizems
of Little Rook and their property the most efficient protection
available, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance,
being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
