AN URDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
(480,000.00) OUT OF THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
FOR THE PURCHASE OF UNITED 6TATE6 GOVERN, 'i4T . UNDS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT O-1DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'Y OF LITTLE RUCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the
General Funds of the City of Little hock the sum of Eighty
Thousand (480,000-00) 000.00) Dollars for the purchase of an equal amount
oT' United States Treasury Coupon bonds to be issued in connection
with the Fifth Viar Loan Drive, said bonds, upon purchase, to be
aelivered to the City Treasurer of the City of Little hock and by
him held in reserve until such time or times and in such amounts
as the City Council of the City of Little mock may determine to
oe converted into cash for use in the General Fund.
:DECTION 2. The 14ayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to issue the City's warrant in the said sum of eighty thousand
dollars for the purposes stated, drawn upon the G- eneral Funds and
in favor of the proper payee, and to make purchase of said bonds
in such denominations as they may deem advisable for the best
interests of the City.
SECTIOk� 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
