AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
WATER WORKS TO EXTEND A WATER LINE IN BISHOP
STREET, AND INSTALL A FIRE HYDRANT THEREON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Little Rock Municipal Water Works is
hereby ordered and directed to irAtall an 8 inch water line in
Bishop Street, between 9th and 10th Streets, connecting to
the existing water system at Ninth Street, and install a standard
" liy4rant at the following location:

NORTHWEST CORNER OF 10TH AND BISHOP STREETS
Section 2. This hydrant is ordered and rates for same
shall govern as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of Trust Inden-
ture dated February 1, 1936 and approved bybthe City Ordinance No.
5316, passed February 28, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance
No. 5712, passed arch 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance
No. 5914, passed June 10, 1940,
Section 3. A free permit is to be granted the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works for the installation of necessary water mains
- to serve this.hydrant.
Section 4. That necessary extension of water main 6"
or larger in diameter shall be installed in dedicated streets or
highways or easements granted by the City to service hydrant above
ordered upon the condition that the Water Department shall not be
required to extend its existing pipe system 6" or larger in diameter
a distance of more than 500 feet for each public fire hydrant order-
-ed.
Section 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict
