AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE WIDTH OF POLK STREET
FROM THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF "Q" STREET
TO THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF "P" STREET.
WHEREAS, Polk Street runs along the west side of the
Forest Park School and the block immediately west of the school
yard has an established curb and gutter built to conform to a
24 -foot width pavement, and it is desirable that this same width
be continued to "Q" Street, sometimes known as Highway No. 10;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a pavement 24 feet
in width in that part of the street hereinafter set out will be
ample to serve the needs of the public;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCILOF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the width of the pavement of Polk
Street between the south property line of "Q" Street and the
Korth property line of "P" Street be and the same is hereby
fixed at 24 feet.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
