AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE PURCHASE OF ONE THOUSAND FEET OF HOSE
FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to purchase for the use of the Little Rook Fire
tog' followings
One thousand feet of 3/4 inch Booster Hose
in 50 feet lengths with rocker lug couplings
SECTION 29 Because the present Booster Hose now owned by
the Fire Department has deteriorated; and because the fire hose
mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance is needed by the Fire
Department to give adequate fire protection to the citizens of
Little Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
ordinance is found to be necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety and shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
