AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE OF CERTAIN PREMISES
AND PRIVILEGES AT THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO AMERICAN AIRLINES, INC.,
CHICAGO AND SOUTHERN AIR LINES, INC., AND BRANIFF AIRWAYS, INCORPOR-
ATED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
dirt.ct_v_d t.o . execute on behalf of the City of Little Rook a , lease
naming American Airlines, Inc. as lessee.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Little Rock, leases
naming Chicago and Southern Air Lines, Inc. and Braniff Airways,
Incorporated, respectively, as lessees; said leases to be sub-
stantially similar to the lease authorized above with the following
changesx
(1) The leases to Chicago and Southern Air Lines,
Inc. and Braniff Airways, Incorporated shall not include
any specific ground space.
(2) Said leases shall be for such administration
building space as may be agreed upon between the lessees and
the Mayor, and shall include approximately that space now
leased to Chicago and Southern Air Lines, Inc., and reserved
for Braniff Airways, Incorporated.
SECTION 3. All the leases authorized under this ordinance shall be
for the term set out in the form of lease attached to this ordinance
and all shall expire at the same time, except that the lease to
Braniff Airways, Incorporated and the obligations thereunder shall
commence on the day that Braniff Airways, Incorporated begins
operations into and out of the Municipal Airport.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
