AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING 177, 10.00 FOR PAYMENT OF SEMI-ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON FUNDING BUN ISSUE OF MAY 1, 1925; SEMI- ANNUAL
INTEREST COUPONS ON REFUNDING BOND ISSUE OF NOVE.M.8ER 1 1 335� SEMI-
ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON REFUNDING BOND ISSUE OF NOV BR 1, 1 938;
APPROPRIATING $44-78 FOR PAYING AGENTS CHARGES FOR PAYMi;NT OF SAID
SEMI - ANNUAL INTEREST, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINXD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $17,910.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund of the City of
vsC for- the payment --of the following ,indebtednes -s date - -ant a
payable at the Chase National Bank, New York City:
Interest Coupons No. 39 due May 1, 3,945, for semiannual
interest on Funding Bonds Nos. 1223 to 1910, inclusive,
dated May 10 1925, amount $15,480.00 (total principal
being $688,000.00);
Interest Coupons No. 19 due May 1, 19.2, 6 for semi- annual.
interest on Refunding Bonds Nos. 1 to , inclusive,
dated November 1, 1935, amount $742.50 (total principal
being $33,000.00);
Interest Coupons No. 13 due May 1, 194 , for semi - annual
interest on Refunding Bonds Nos. 1 to 75, inclusive,
dated November 1t 1938, amount $1,687.50 (total principal
being $75,000.005.
SECTION 2. That the sum of $44.78 be and the same is hereby
appropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund of the City of Little
Rook for the payment of the following charges due the Chase National
Bank as paying agent's fees in connection with the payment of the
aforesaid semi -annual interest coupons:
Commission for paying coupons due May 1, 1945) 1/4 of 1%
of $17, 910. 00 ............................. ..$44.78.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to issue the City's warrant or warrants therefor, drawn on the Bond
and Interest Fund, for the purposes herein recited; and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to make such arrangements as are necessary for the
transai.ttal of these funds to the Chase National Bank of New York
City to meet the due date of May 1, 1945, of said semi - annual interest
payments and paying agent's charges.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in forge
from and after its passage and approval.
