AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4, SUBSECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
N0. 4866 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 4, Subsection 1 of Ordinance No.
4866 of the Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"APPLICATION FOR PERMITS. 1. Then Required.- -
It shall be unlawful to construct, alter, remove or
demolish, or to commeryce the construction, alteration,
removal or demolition of a building or structure, or
part thereof, or to install as an integral part in, or
in connection with a building or structure, or any part
thereof, any elevator, gas - piping or heating or heat
producing appliances, without first filing with the
Building Commissioner an application and obtaining a
permit for such construction, alteration, removal or
demolition, or installation of elevator, gas- piping or
heating or heat producing appliances. Building, plaster-
ing or insulating buildir.;s will, for the purpose of
this ordinance, be considered as included within the
terms 'to construct' or to 'alteril"
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
