AN ORDIPIANCE DIRECTING THE LITTIE R;CK MUNICIPAL
WATER WORKS TO EXTEND WATER LINES AND INSTALL
FOUR (4) FIRE HYDRANTS THEREON TO SERVE AREA RE-
CET'TITLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal Water Ilorks proposes to install
a twelve inch (12 ") water pipe line beginning in Asher Avenue west of
Elm Street and continuing west in Asher Avenue to Jefferson Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TILE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK;
Section 1. That the Little Rock Municipal Water Works is hereby
ordered. and directed to install four (4) fire hydrants connecting same
to the proposed line at the following locations:
Asher
Avenue
west of Lewis
- north side
Asher
Avenue
and Peyton St.
- north side
Asher
Avenue
and VJashington
St. - north side
Asher
Avenue
and Jennie St.
- north side
Section 2. That these hydrants are ordered and rates for same
shall govern as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust Inden-
ture, dated February 1, 1936, and approved by City Ordinance No. 5316,
passed February 26, 1936, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5712,
passed March 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5914,
passed June 10, 1940.
Section 3.. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict with this
ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
