AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
JOLM -END GATE WIP 4MWIM FOR THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to purchase in the manner provided by law
the following:
One End Gate Chip Spreader for use in the
Street Department
SECTION 2. Because the equipment mentioned in Section
1 of this ordinance is needed immediately for the preservation,
maintenance and construction of the streets in the City of
Little Rook, and because without such equipment there is
danger of city streets deteriorating to the detriment of the
citizens of Little Rock and their property, an emergency is
declared to-exist and this ordinance is found to be necessary
for the preservation of public peace, health and safety and
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
