AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
WATER WORKS TO EXTEND WATER LINES AND INSTALL
EIGHT (8) FIRE HYDRANTS THEREON TO SERVE INDUS-
TRIAL AREA IN THE EAST SECTION OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal Water Works proposes to in-
stall a twelve (12") inch water pipe line beginning at the intersec-
tion of 14th and College Streets and continuing East in 14th and 13th
Streets to Bond Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Little Rock Municipal Water Works is hereby
ordered and directed to install eight (8) fire hydrants connecting -
same to the proposed line at the following locations:
East 14th and Hanger
East 14th and Geyer
East 13th and Bond
East 13th and Cherry
East 13th - block West of Cherry
East 13th - 2 blocks West of Cherry
East 13th - 3 blocks West of Cherry
East 13th - block East of Dodge
Section 2. That these hydrants are ordered and rates for same
shall govern as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust In-
denture, dated February 1, 1936, and approved by City Ordinance No.
5316, passed February 28, 1936, and as amended by City Ordinance No.
5712, passed 1.1arch 22, 1939, and as amended by City ordinance No.
5914, passed June 10, 1940.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict with
this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
