AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING CERTAIN POSITIONS AND CREATI ?G CERTAIN
POSITIONS IN THE ELECTRIC DEPARTIM NT: FIXING SALARIES: AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES-
BE IT ORDAI7TED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, .ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The position of Assistant Electrician in the Eleotrie
Department is hereby abolished.

empl ®y�sient in the Electric Department; Inspector, Line Fore aan,
' Assistant Lineman; which positions shall be in addition to any
positions of employment already authorized in said department- The
Inspector shall have the duty of inspecting electrical work, shall do
inside electrical work and shall perform such other tasks as the City
Electrician shall from time to time assign. He shall be directly
responsible to the City Electrician. The Line Foreman shall super-
vise line construction work and assist in its construction. He shall
be in charge of the Lineman and the Assistant Lineman, and shall be
directly answerable to the City Electrician.
SECTION 3. The persons to fill the positions created in Section 2.
of this ordinance shall be chosen by the Civil Service Ccmmission An

the manner provided by law.
SECTION 4. The persons filling the positions in the Electric
Department in the City of Little Rookz shall receive as monthly salary
the amounts set opposite the positions listed, as follows:
