HomeMy WebLinkAbout6866C ORDINANCE NO. 6866 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5307 REREAS, the Board of Commissioners.of Sewer Improve- ment District No. -111_ of Little Rock, Arkansas, has authorised the issuance of $20,000 refunding bonds to refund its outstanding And obtedness; and WHEREAS, said Board of Commissioners by resolution qtly adopted and filed with the City Clerk, as authorized by Act. No. 112 of the General Assembly of Arkansas of the year 1933, as amended by Act No. 241 of 1937, has provided that the entire talance of unpaid assessments of benefits against each lot, block, parcel of land and railroad track and right of way in said district due on November 11 1945, shall be the assessment of benefits for said issue of refunding bonds and that said unpaid assessments shall bear interest at the rate of th per centum per annum from November 1, 191459 the date of said refunding bonds, until said assessments have been paid is full.:` � NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Sec. 1. That Section One of Ordinance No. 5307 of the City of Little Rock, passed and approved on the 10th day of September, 19360 entitled "AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL RATE AND DATE OF COLLECTION OF ASSESSMENTS OF BENEFITS IN SEM IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 114 AND PROVIDING FOR INTERESS @it SAID ANNUAL INSTALLMENT OF BENEFITS ", be and is hereby .. §Ykd to road as follows "Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks, and parcels of real property, railroads and railroad rights of way in Newer Improvement District Mo. 114 of Little Rock, Arkansas be and the same are hereby assessed according to the assessment gp 4� list of said District as fixed by the Commissioners of the District and now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and as it may hereafter from time to time be re- vised,,, or readjusted by the Board .of ssors, and that thirteen and two - tenths per cent (13.2%) of the face of said assessment against each of said lots, blocks, parcels of land and railroad tracks and rights -of -way shall be paid annually on or before the first day of March,beginning in the year 1946, until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid, said collections to be credited first upon the �. intekest accruing upon the said assessment of benefits." Section 2.
