AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE LITTLE ROCK T+:UNICIPAL WATER '0iORKS TO
EXTEND ITS WATER LINES IN 'NEST 9TH, HARRISON., WEST 31ST AND
JENNIE STREETS , AND INSTALL 22 FIRE HYDRANTS THEREON.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal Water Works proposes to
install a twelve (12 ") inch water pipe line as follows: 'Nest 9th
Street - Elm to Harrison Streets; Harrison Street - 9th to 31st
Streets; West 31st Street - Harrison to Jennie Streets; and thence
in Jennie to Asher Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Little Lock Municipal -';'later Works is hereby
ordered and directed to install twenty -two (22) fire hydrants connect
ins; same to the proposed line at the f ollowin- locations:
Jest 9th and Abigail Streets
West 9th and Washington Streets
West 9th and Jefferson Streets
West 9th and Madison Streets
West 9th and Van Buren Streets
Harrison and West 11th Streets
Harrison and West 12th Streets
Harrison and West 13th Streets
Harrison and West 14th Streets
Harrison and West 16th Streets
Harrison and West 17th Streets
Harrison and West 19th Streets
Harrison and West 21st Streets
Harrison and West 23rd Streets
Harrison and West 24th Streets
Harrison and West 25th Streets
Harrison and West 26th Streets
Harrison and West 29th Streets
Harrison and '+Jest 30th Streets
West 31st and 11onroe Streets
West 31st and Madison Streets
';est 31st and Jefferson Streets
Section 2. That these hydrants are ordered and rates for sane
shall govern as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust In-
dent,are, dated February 1, 1936, and approved by City Ordinance No.
5316, passed February 28, 1936', and as amended by City ordinance No.
5712, passed vlarch 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance No.5914 ,
passed June 10, 1940, and as ajnended by City Ordinance No. 6824,
passed September 10, 1945.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict
with this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passal-e.
