MAN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF MRS. LOUISE LOUGHBOROUGH
AS A 11EMBER OF THE LAKE FOURCHE COMMITTEEt APPOINTING WILLIAM NASH AS A
MEMBER OF SAID COMMITTEE AND AS SECRETARY THEREOF,. DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:"'
wfwx&S., Mrs. Louise Loughborough has tendered her resignation as a
member of the Lake Fourche.Comm3ttee, heretofore duly constituted by
action of the Mayor and of the City Council, said resignation to take effect
immediately upon acceptance by this council; and
761EREAS, during the period of her membership upon the Committee Mrs.
Loughborough has rendered service of great value to the City of Little
Rocky
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:

The thanks of the city and of its citizens are hereby given to Mrs, bough•
borough for the service rendered by her as a member of the Lake Fourche
committee*
SECTION 2.. William Nash, a citizen of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be,
and he hereby is, appointed and confirmed as a member of the Lake Fourche
Committee in succession to Mrs. Loughborough and, further, as the secretary of
said committee.
SECTION 3• It is essential that certain contract be let immediately
by the Lake Fourche Committee and that other business be transacted w;Lthout
delay, and hence it is necessary, for the benefit of the public peaces
health, and safety, that this ordinance bedme effective immediately; there-
fore, an emergency is hereby declared to Vxist, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its passage
and approval
