AN ORDINANCE GRANTING RIGHT -Ok -WAY ACROSS IDIACARTHUR PARK
TO THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUC-
T ION OF A WATER PIPE LINE TO ADEC ,,UATELY SERVE THE AREA.
WHEREAS J1 the Little Rock Municipal Water 'horks proposes to
install a twelve (12 ") inch and eight (8 ") inch water piae line along
and through a portion of MacArthur Park.
NM'J, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY C OUNC IL OF THE
C ITY OF LITTLE ROCK :
SECTIOI'i That the City of Little Rock hereby grants
to the Little Rock ":[unicipal 7-iater 1, " "orks a six (6 t) foot easement
along and across ', "acArthur Park to construct a twelve (1211) inch
and an eight (8 ") inch water main. The easement shall begin at
a point near the southeast corner of the Park, continuing north
and parallel to McAlmont Street to Tenth Street; thence west and
north in the Park, leaving the Park at Ferry Street, a distance
of approximately 1740 feet, as shown on plat this date filed in
the City Clerkts office.
SECTION 2. That the said water line shall be construct-
ed underground on the center line of said easement.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they
conflict with this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
