RIP ORDINANCE N0. 2004087576 91/27/M4 99:27:38 AN Filed & Recorded in Official Records of CAROLYN STALEY PIMI COUNTY CIRCUIT /COUNTY CLERK Fees $11.99 AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE PARTS OF THIRD STREET, MARTIN STREET, SHALL STREET AND FOURTH STREET, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. Whereas, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 29th day of April, 1946, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon parts of Third Street, Martin Street, Shall Street and Fourth Street, in the City of Little Rock; and Whereas, after due notice as required by law, the Council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that said streets, hereinafter described, have heretofore been dedicated to the public use as streets, have not been actually used by the public gen orally for more than five years since the filing of said plat. That all of the owners of the property abutting upon the streets to be va- cated have filed with the Council their written consent to such aban- doaffient; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such streets. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: Section 1, The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby re- leases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the streets designated as followst V 000 G i " `Ta Third Street from a line of the West line of Pa*4k ",,4 of Wiggins & Yonley's Addition extended Easterly to the right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company. Martin Street from a line of the North line of Lot is Block 2, of Wiggins & Yonley +s Addition extended Southerly to the North line of Fourth Street extended. Shall Street from a line of the southern line of Lot '7, Block 5, and Lot 6, Block 61 of Wiggins & Yonleyls Addition extended Northerly to the right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company. 1 I_';O Fourth Street from the Westerly line of Block 4 of Wi gins & Yonleyts Addition extended East to the right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Section 2, A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of the County and recorded in the deed records of the County. Section 3.
