a AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE EAST 63 FEET 4 INCHES
OF A PRIVATE PASSAGEWAY OVER THE SOUTH 10 FEET
OF LOT 2, BLOCK 74, OF THE ORIGINAL CITY OF

LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the. nth
day of May, 19462 asking the City Council to vacate and
abandon the East 63 feet 4 inches of a private passageway
over and across the South 10 feet of Lot 2 in Block 74 of
the original City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heed all persons who desired to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the portion of the private passageway
hereinabove described has been used as a public alley, but
that all owners of the property abutting upon the portion
of the said private passageway or alley to be vacated have
filed with the Council their written consent to such
abandonment, and that the public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of the above
described portion of such alley or passageway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City of Little Rock hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to that portion
of the private passageway or alley described as follows :.
East 63 feet 4 inches of the private passageway
across and over the South 10 feet of Lot 2,
Block 74 of the Original City of Little Rock,
in Pulaski County_, Arkansas.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified
by the. City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Circuit
Clerk and Ex- officio Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and
recorded in the Deed Records of said County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passa8e.
