ORDINANCE NO. 7035 -
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO ABROGATE A LEASE.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of August, 1936, the City
of Little Rook, through its Mayor and City Clerk, entered into
an agreement with Ben Lessenberry, purporting to lease certain
property to said Ben Lessenberry, for a period of twenty (20)
years, for the sum of Twenty -Five ($25) Dollars per year, and
SEAS, it is now the desire of both parties to
said lease to cancel, annul, and abrogate said agreement as of
this date, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Little Rook are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to
enter into an agreement with Ben Lessenberry for the cancellation
of the agree ent; which the City of Little Rook 'entered into, of -
the 12th day of August, 1936, with Ben Lessenberry purporting to
lease the fallowing #*scribed property:
Martin Street Beginning at
East Second Street and Ex-
tending Mouth 310 feet.
SECTION II. All Ordinanow and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
