AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO LEASE TO
P. C. BROWN CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH BANK OF THE
ARKANSAS RIVER LYING BETWEEN CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY NOW LEASED
TO THE LITTLE ROCK ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AND THE EASTERN BOUNDARY
OF CUMBERLAND STREET AND BETWEEN THE ARKANSAS RIVER ON THE NORTH
AND THE RAILROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY ON THE SOUTH, MENTIONING CERTAIN
PROVISIONS OF THE LEASE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
T ON 1. The Mayor. and Glty Clerk eXo ".hereby authorized
and dirsate d to lease to P. C. Brown the following lands owned
by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more "particularly described
to-wit, as follows:
All that parcel of property* owned by the
City of'"Little Rock, Arkansas lying be-
tween the east boundary of the property
leased to the Little Rock Athletic Assoc -
iation (Boat House) and the west boundary
of Cumberland Street and lying between
the Arkansas river on the north and the
right -of -way of the railroad on the south.
SECTION 2. The lease of the property mentioned in Section 1
of this Ordinance shall be f or a period of ten years gdd*k*R*

Wand the Lessee shall
be required to pay an annul -1 rental of $6000,00. The lease autho-
rized by this Ordinance shall begin on July 1, 1946.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
