AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER
WORKS TO INSTALL ONE (1) FIRE HYDRANT AT THE CORNER OF
SEVENTEENTH AND GEYER STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works is hereby ordered and directed to install one (1)
fire hydrant at the intersection of:
17th and Geyer Streets
SECTIOPT 2. That this hydrant is ordered and the
rate for same shall govern as set forth in Section 1,
Article 3, of the Trust Indenture, dated February 1, 1936,
and approved by City Ordinance No. 5316, passed February
28, 1936, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5712, passed
March 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5914,
passed June 10, 1940, and as amended by City Ordinance
No. 6824, passed September 10, 1945.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar
as they conflict with this ordinance.
SECTION 4. That the installation of this fire
hydrant will promote the public peace, health and safety;
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
