AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY AT 3600 -3624 WEST
THIRTEENTH STREET, DESCRIBED AS A PLOT OF GROUND 134 FEET DEEP
AND 193 FEET LONG BOUNDED BY MAPLE STREET ON THE WEST; VALENTINE
STREET ON THE EAST AND WEST THIRTEENTH STREET ON THE SOUTH;
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 5420; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
ARKANSAS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,
SECTION 1. That a plot of land 134 feet deep and 193
feet long, bound by Maple Street on the West, Valentine Street
on the East and Thirteenth Street on the South, more commonly
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the West boundary
line of the Northwest Quarter (NWj) of the Northeast Quarter
(NEI) of Section Eight (9), in Township One (1) North, Range
Twelve (12) West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, which said point is
located 198 feet South of the Northwest corner of the Northwest
Quarter (NWj) of the Northeast Quarter (NEJ) of said Section
Eight (8), (said point being further identified as a point on
the West boundary line. of Lot Four (4) in Block Eighteen (19),
Jones & Worthen's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas);
thence South 134 feet, more or less, to the North line of 13th
Street; thence East 193 feet, more or less, to Valentine Street;
thence North 134 feet, more or less, to the Northeast Corner of
Lot Four (4) in said Block Eighteen (18); thence West 193 feet,
Jones & Worthen's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
being No. 3600 to 3624 W. 13th Street, heretofore classified
and zoned as "B" Residence District under the terms of Zoning
Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the
same is hereby declared to be in "D" Apartment District under
the terms of said Zoning Ordinance, and waiver of yard space
requirements is hereby granted on the lot in the Southeast corner
of said tract.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map
thereto attached and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to
permit the reclassification and rezoning of the said plot of land
as outlined in Section 1 hereof; said property to be hereafter
known and classified as being in "D" Apartment District and with
yard space requirements waived as provided in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
