AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PART CF 28TH STREET WHICH EXTENDS
FROM CEDAR STREET EASTWARD TO ASHER AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of
the City of Little Rock on the 23r day of _Member ,1946,
asking the City Council to vacate and abandon all that portion

of the 29th Street which extends from Cedar Street eastward to
Asher Avenue, a distance of about 174 feet, as shown in Plat of
R. C. Butler's Addition recorded March 18 -, 1901, in Deed Record
"AA" at Page 329 of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question, and has ascertained
that the street or portion thereof heretofore described, has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street herein
described, has not been actually used by the public generally
for a period of more than five years prior to the filing of said
petition; that all the owners of the property abutting that portion
of the street to be vacated have filed with the Council their written
consent to such abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of said portion of
the street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
That portion of 29th Street which extends from Cedar
Street eastward to Asher Avenue, a distance of about
174 feet.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski,
County, Arkansas to be recorded in the Deed Records of said County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
