ORDINANCE NO. -- 7113 —
AN ORDINANCE FAVORING THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE
INCORPORATED TOWN OF CAMMACK VILLAGE, ARKANSAS,
WITH THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND AP-
PROVING AND RATIFYING THE PETITION, SIGNED BY
MORE THAN FIFTY ELECTORS FROM EACH MUNICIPALITY,
FOR THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE INCORPORATED TOWN
OF CAMMACK VILLAGE, ARKANSAS, WITH THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS,a petition has been presented to this City Council
signed by more than fifty qualified electors of the Incorporated
Town of Cammack Village, Arkansas, End by more than fifty qualified
electors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, said petition requests the consolidation of the
Incorporated Town off Cammack Village, Arkansas, with the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the Incorporated Town of Cammack Village, Arkansas,
is the smaller of the two municipalities and lies contiguous to
and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, said petition has described the two municipal
corporations to be consolidated and has also named the persons
authorized to act in behalf of the petitioners in presenting said
petition;
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas: .

SECTION 1. That said annexation and consolidation of the
Incorporated Town of Cammack Village, Arkansas, with the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, is favored and approved by this Council.
SECTION 2. That the petition for said annexation and consolida-
tion be and the sane is hereby approved and ratified.
SECTION 3. That the County Court of Pulaski County is hereby
called upon to order and call a spedial election in each
municipality on the question of said annexation, and fix the
pollirrg places, as prescribed by the statutes of the State of
Arkansas.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
