WORLD WAR VETERANS EN GA GM IN EDUCATIOM MINING AIM PURSUITS, AND FOR
OTEM PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section I. That Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8), of Block 247, Original City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, same being on the northwest corner of 10th '& Izard
Streets An said City, be and are hereby exempt from the following provisions of
Ordinance 4866, Article IV., Section 31, paragraph 3; .Article IP., Section 33,,
paragraph 4; and Article 17., Section 34, paragraph 5, for a period of two years
and six months, in order to permit the erection and use of frame barracks buildings
for temporary use in housing veterans of World War obtaining educational benefits
under the provisions of the veterans' G. I. educational program. Upon the expiration
of two (2) years of this period
period, an additional six (6} month�'is herein provided
for, in order that said temporary buildings may be fully and completely removed
from said Lots Seven and Eight (7 & 8), Block 247, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
Section II. That Ordinance 4866 be and is hereby amended to conform to t his
Ordinance for the purposes as set out in Section I. above.
Section III. That Ordinance #5420, with its amendments thereto, and the
zoning a thereto attached and made a amended,--
ng p part thereof, be and are hereby
to effectuate a waiver of yard space as required under said Ordinance.
Section IV. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and
effect from and after its passage.
