AN O?.DINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATI(j'II OF FIRE HYDRA 1TS WITHIN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE YFAR 1917.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SE CTICPI 1. 1,'7henever the Chief of the Little Rock Fire Department,
with the approval of the Arkansas Fire Prevention Bureau, shall select
locations within the City of Little Rock for fire hydrants deened necessary
for adeauate fire protection for the City of Little Rock and requests the
Board of I.Waterworks Commissioners of the Little Rock 1,1k�nicipal Dater Works
to install sa:ie, the said Board of Waterworks Commissioners sl-All have full
authority to so install said fire hydrant and charge hydrant rentals - therefor
as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. That rates for hydrants installed under this ordinance
shall be as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust Indenture, dated
February 1, 1936, and a;-)proved by City Ordinance Ho. 5316, passed February 28,
1936, and as amended by City Ordinance No. 5712, passed March 22, 1939, and
as amended by City Ordinance No. 5911, passed June 10, 191T0, and as amended
by City Ordinance uo. 682, gassed September 10, 1915.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewJLth are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict with this ordi-
nance.
SECTIOIJ 4, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
