AN ORDNANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6553 OF
THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK PERMITTING
THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO ENGAGE
IN OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 6553 of the Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock granting permission to the employees of the
City of Little Rock to engage in other employment while on the
payroll of the City of Little Rock is hereb- repealed in its
entirety.
SECTION 2. It shall be the policy of the City of
Little Rock not to permit any of the employees of the Fire
and Police Departments of the City of Little Rock to engage in
an7T business or work for any person during their off -duty hours,
or off -days, so lon:- as they are in the employment of the City
of Little Rock, except that temporary employment as may be approved
by the Chiefs of the respective departments.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereb -- repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
