REPAIR CONTRACTOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOS"S.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Sub- section (J), Section 6. of Ordinance No.
. 7222, passed March 24, 1947, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Electrical Refrigeration Contractor" shall be defined
to include any person, firm, partnership, or
corporation engaged in the business of installing,
repairing, or maintaining electrical equipment in
connection with refrigeration.
They shall be entitled to install, maintain and replace
electrical equipment, make necessary connections to
refrigeration equipment, providing they do not make final
connection to electric current unless there is an approved
outlet of sufficient capacity available within fifteen
feet of the machine to be connected.
Actual work shall be done by a qualified master, journeyman,
or specialist refrigerator electrician.
,electrical Refrigeration Contractor, shall pay a license
fee of ;; 75.00 within 10 days after becomin{; eli f -Ible there-
for to December 31, 1947, and 5 675.00 annually thereafter
on or before the 30th day of January of each year, for the
privilege of engaging in such business.
"Electrical Refrigeration Repair Contractor" shall be
defined to include any person, firm, partnership,
or corporation engaged in the business of repairing,
or maintaining electrical equipment in connection with
refrigeration.
They shall not be entitled to make electrical wiring in-
stallation in connection with refrigeration for light or
power, neither can they make installation connections to
commercial or domestic units, except domestic units of the
portable plug -in type.

Actual work shall be done by a qualified master, journeyman,
or specialist refri7eration electrician.
Electrical Refrigeration Repair Contractor shall pay a
license fee of ;;50.00 within 10 days after becoming
elgible therefor to December 31, 1947, and �'ZO.00 annually
thereafter on or before the 30th day of January of each
year for the privilege of enga!7ing in such business.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts or ordinances in
conflict hbrewith are hereb \r repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect iriediately the public
peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little Rock will
be adversely affected, therefore, an emermency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
