S7,CTION 1. That in consideration of the above facts,
Ordinance No. 6586, passed Au'rTust �, 1�'43, is hereby repealed
and the Woments Bureau of the City Police Department created
thereunder is hereby abolished.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of
this ordinance are ; -ut into effect immediately the public peace,
health and safety of t'r_e citizens of the City of Little Rock
will be adversely affected. Therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and tliis ordinance shall take effect July
1, 1047.
