AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE I ARKING OF
THE STREETS FOR PARKING! 'ITHIN THE CITY

OF LITTLE ROCK, REQUIRIN!" AUTOMOBILES TO
PARK WITHIN CERTAIN MARKI'TGS, FIXING A PEN-
N ALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.-
S�CTIJN 1. From and after the effective date of
this ordinance.the.City Engineer shall cause the streets of
the City of, Little Rock where one hour or less parking i.s.
permitted to be marked off with lines perpendicular to the.-
curb designating parking space for one automobile. The
parking space designated for each vehicle shall be 'twenty -two (22)
feet in length.
SECTION 2. The vehicles parked upon such streets
so marked shall be between the perpendicular marks so drawn.

It is hereby declared to be unlawful for any person, firm,
partnership, or corporation to park over or on one of the
perpendicular lines drawn indicating parking space.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm, partnership, or cor-
poration violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon
the conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not less than
$2.00 nor more than $10.00 for such offense.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
