AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO RECEIVE BIDS AND TO SELL CERTAIN SUR-
PLUS MOTOR CYCLES, AND FOR OTHER PU-RPOSI;S.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City of
Little Rock is hereby authorized and directed to receive bids for
the sale of one (1) solo and two (2) three -wheel motor cycles,
said motor cycles having been used and are now declared surplus
and unsuitable for further use bZ, the Police Department of the
City of Little Rock; the Board, if suitable bids are received,
is hereby authorized to sell such machines.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of
this ordinance are put into effect immediately the public peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock
will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
