AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF
FOUR HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS
(410.20) TO R. F. HAYS AND OTHERS TO SAT-
ISFY A JUDGMENT AGAINST THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
WHEREAS, In a recent case in the Pulaski Circuit Court
between R. F. Hays and others Vs. The City of
Little Rock, a judgment in the amount of Four
Hundred Dollars ($400.00) and court costs in
the amount of Ten Dollars and Twenty Cents
($10.20) was obtained against the City of Little
Rock for damages for the taking of the property
of the plaintiffs as a part of the Little Rock
Municipal Airport property, and
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock is justly indebted to
said persons, and
WHEREAS, The City desires that the title to the Airport
property be vested in said City,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there be, and there is hereby
appropriated from the General Fund of the City Treasury the
amount of Four Hundred Ten Dollars and Twenty Cents ($410.20)
to be paid to R. F. Hays, J. B. Hays, G. D. Hays, Helen Hays
Zerega, Evelyn Ridgeway, and Mrs. N. J. Hays, and the Ir oper
city officials are hereby authorized and directed to issue
and execute the proper instruments to accomplish this purpose.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provis-
ions of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the
public peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City
of Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
