AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO TAKE BIDS AND PURCHASE ITEMS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public "ffairs is hereby author-
ized to take bids and purchase the following items for various
departments:
1 Ford motor exchange for Police De t., amount not to ex-
ceed $100.00 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
20,000 feet of oak bridge lumber; amount not to exceed
$40.00 (FORTY DOLLARS) per thousand, for the Street De-
partment .
50,000 sheets of legal mimeo aper for use by all depart-
ments, cost not to exceed 1100.00 (ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS)
1000# Bass fibre and 1000# Broom wire for street department,
cost not to exceed $510.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
