AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING AN ORIGINAL AND THREE (3) COPIES
OF ALL PROPOSED ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS TO BE FILED
WITH THE CITY CLERK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. From and after the effective date of this ordin-
ance all proposed ordinances and proposed resolutions shall be
filed with the City Clerk and there shall be filed an original
and at least three (3) copies of each proposed ordinance or pro-
posed resolution.
SECTION 2. In the event such proposed ordinance or propos-
ed resolution is passed by the City Council, and signed by the
Mayor, the original and one copy of same shall remain with the
City Clerk, and it shall be his duty to keep one copy of same
for the chief of the department affected by such ordinance or
resolution, and one copy for the city attorney. It shall be the
duty of the head of each department not prior to your (4) days
after each meeting of the City Council to call at the office of
the City Clerk and request his copy of any ordinance or resolut-
ion which may have been passed affecting his department. The
city attorney shall also make such request of the City Clerk.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval,
