AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO TAKE BIDS AND PURCHASE ITEMS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
to take bids and purchase the following items for various departments:
500 Improvement District record sheets for use of Collectors
office, cost not to exceed $61.00
28 Light poles for Electric Dept., cost not to
exceed 256.20
1 Motor exchange for shovel for Street Dept.,
cost not to exceed 110.00
4 desks, 5 chairs, 2 lock file cabinets, at cost
not to exceed 143.00
50 books, miscellaneous receipts, cost not to exceed 12$.75
19 Books tax receipts, cost not to exceed 153.60
4 36 x 5 solid tires, for Fire Dept, cost not to
exceed 295.00
not to exceed
20,000' bridge lumber for street d4pt. $44.00 per M.
SECTION 2. this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
