AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF TE'1PORARY SUPERVISOR
OF MAINTENANCE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The position of temporary supervisor of
maintenance is hereby created. The person to fill this
position shall be chosen by the Mayor and shall receive a
salary to be fixed by the Mayor at $26$.76 per month. The
temporary supervisor of maintenance shall be charged with
supervising the repair of any and all public buildings
which may be needing repair during the employment authorized
by this ordinance. The person filling such position shall
be authorized to employ such temporary or casual labor
as he may need from time to time in the discharge of the
above duties.
SECTION 2. The employment authorized under this
ordinance shall in no event exceed six (6) months from
the time that the temporary supervisor of maintenance is
chosen, under this ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
