AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7126
CREATING POSITIONS OF SANITARIAN AND
ASSISTANT SANITARIAN IN THE HEALTH DEPART -
MENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 7126 passed
October 7, 1946, is hereby amended to read as follows:
There are hereby created 7 positions of Sanitarian
and 5 positions of Assistant Sanitarian in the Health
Department of the City of Little Rock. One of the posit-

Ions of Sanitarian/iJul3 be occupied by a colored person.
At no time shall there be a combined total of more than
7 Sanitarians and Assistant Sanitarians employed by the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordin-
ance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
