AN ORDINANCE TO ADJUST THE SALARY OF THE WATCHMAN AT
THE FAIR PARK ZOO IN THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTUMT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
B8 IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARSANSAS:
SECTION 1. The salary for the position of Watchman at the
Fair Park Zoo is increased from $109. 69 per month to 4115.31 per
month to equal the monthly Waary paid the Watchman at the Fair
Park 'Golf Course In the same department.
SECTION 2. 411 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, Unless the provisions of this ordinance
are pat into effect immediately, the public peace, health and safety
of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will be adversely affected,
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval, retroactive to January 1, 19486
