AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF THE SHOP FOREMAN
IN THE DEPARTMENT OF GARBAGE DISPOSAL, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS: .
SECTION 1. From and after January 1, 1948, the salary
of the Shop Foreman in the Department of Garbage Disposal
is hereby fined at $195.00 per month.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and /or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Because the Department of Garbage Dis-
posal needs the services of the Shop Foreman in order to
maintain its automotive equipment in a satisfactory con-
dition to collect and dispose of the garbage, trash, waste,
refuse, etc., of the City of Little Rock, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance being necess-
ary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and
safety, shall be in full force and effect after January 1,
1948.
