AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND
PURCHASE CERTAIN EQUIPMEENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and
purchase the following equipment to be used by the Police
Department of the City of Little Rock:
Three (3) Automobiles
SECTION 2. All ordinances and /or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and in order for the
Police Department of the City of Little Rock to give adequate
police protection to the citizens, this ordinance must become
effective immediately and an emergency hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
