AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE
CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR TAE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the follow-
ing equipment to be used by the Police Department of the City of
Little Rock:
Four (4) Automobiles
SECTION 2. All ordinances and /or parts of ordinances in con-
fliet herewith are hereby repealed and in order for the Police De-
partment of the City of Little Rock to give adequate police protec-
tion to the citizens, this ordinance must become effective immediate-
ly and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
