AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS FOR
THE VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to take bids for, and purchase,
the following items for the use of the various City Depart-
ments:
Motor exchange for 1941 Plymouth, for use u
of the Fire Department, cost not to exceed $125.00
New Chevrolet Motor for the use of the
Sanitation Department, cost not to exceed 220.00
100 pads, in triplicate, work reports for use
of Engineering Department, cost not to exceed 90.00
One Heavy -duty generator for use of the Police
Department, cost not to exceed 130.00
One 8" diameter dial -face hanging scale, 300#
capacity, to replace scale for weighing
asphalt, for use of the Street Department,
cost not to exceed 75.00
1 coil copper wire, for use of
Department, cost not to exceed

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
