ORDINANCE NO.--759;; -
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 567 OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of mae than
two- thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose herein-
after set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Uouncil of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to-wit:

for the purpose of paving, in such a manner and with such materials
as the commissioners to be elected for the said improvement district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the fol-
lowing parts of the following streets in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, to -wit:
Lewis Street from the South property line of West
20th Street to the South property line of West 29th
Street; and
West 29th Street from the East property line of
Lewis Street to the Northwest property line of
Asher Avenue; and
West 20th Street from the West boundary line of
Pine Street to the East boundary line of Cedar
Street, and from the West boundary line of Cedar
Street to the ]asst boundary line of Lewis Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described,provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 567 ; and

Commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said
district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
