ORDINANCE NO. X59__ 6 __
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CURB AND TYTOFRLITTLEVE-
MENT DISTRICT N0. �_
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter
set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by more than two - thirds in assessed value of the owners
of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots it 2, 3, 5, 6, 79 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16, Block 1;
Lots 1 and 2, Block 4;
All in Riffel& Holders Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 1;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, Block 2;
Bbts 1 to 6, inclusive, Block 3;
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 4;
All in Oak Grove Square Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, Block 17;
Lots 1, 20 3, 10, 11, and 12, Block 18;
Lots it 2, 3, 10, 11 and 12, Block 19;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, Block 20;
All in R. C. Butler's Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas,
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 1;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, Block 6;
Lots 19 2, 3, 10, 11, and 12, Block 7;

Little Rock, Arkansas.
curbing and guttering, in such
for the purpose of grading, draining,
a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to be elected
for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the best
interest of said district, the following parts of the following streets
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lewis See from the South
property West
of West 29th
20th Strreet t
Street; and
West 29th Street from the East property line of
Lewis Street to the Northwest property line of
Asher Avenue; and
West 20th Street from th line
Pine Street to the East
Street, and from the West boundary line of Cedar
Street to the lost boundary line of Lewis Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described, provided the liability of
each 110:t or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Curb and Gutter Improvement
District No - 968 and Herold L. D enson, J. R. Heriot, and H- C.
Leimer are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board
of Improvement for said district.
Section 2• This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
