AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO TAKE BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW CAR FOR THE
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND REPEALING A PORTION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 6714 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to take bids for the purchase of one
new car for the Parks and Recreation department.
SECTION 2. The portion of Ordinance No. 6714 known as
Section 3 shall be repealed upon delivery of the car. This
section had appropriated 450 per month to the Superintendent of
Parks and Recreation to recompense him for expenses incurred
on his own automobile while carrying out his duties.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
