AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE
BIDS FOR AND LET A CONTRACT TO RAT PROOF
THE CITY HALL AND THE CITY JAIL, DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1, The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for and let a contract for
the rat proofing of the City Nall and the City Jail.
Section 2. The amount pf.,8Uch contract and the cost of
performing such work for the City- of Little Rock shall not
exceed the sum of Three Hundred and Ten Dollars.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and unless the provisions of
this ordinance are placed into effect immediately, the public
peace health and safety of the citizens of the City Will be
adversely affected, therefore an - emergency is hereby deleared
to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
