AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THAT ALLEY NOW LOCATED BETWEEN
LOTS.THIRTY -ONE AND THIRTY -TWO OF BLOCK TWO, COUNTRY
CLUB HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LIT`L'LE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 7th
day of June , 1948, asking the City Council to
vacate and abandon all that portion of the alley designated
on the plat of the Country Club Heights Addition to said City,
now appearing of record in Plat Book 2, at Page 164, in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the
council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the alley hereinbefore described has
heretofore been dedicated to the Public use as an alley; has
not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be
vacated have filed with the council their written consent to
such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley desig-
nated as follows:

nated as follows:

That alley which lies between and is contiguous to Lots
Thirty -One (31) and Thirty -Two (32) of Block Two (2),
Country Club Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, which is designated on the Plat of the said
Country Club Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock,
now appearing of record in Plat Book 2 at Page 164, in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; more
particularly described as follows:
Begin at the NOrthwast corner of Lot 32, thence East 10
feet more or less to the Northwest corner of Lot 31, thence
South 140 feet more or less to the Southwest corner of said
Lot 31, thence Webt lb feet more or less to the Southeast
corner of Lot 32, thence North 140 feet more or less to the
point of beginning; all of this property lying in Block Two
(2), Country Club Heights Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. A copy of the ordinance duly certified
by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of the County of Pulaski and recorded in the deed records of
the county.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
