ORDINANCE NO. 7675
AN OMI TANCE CREATING CURB AND GUTTER
IMPROVE MiT DISTRICT NO. 2 OF
THE CITY OF LITME FLOCK, Ja`=.
sr " "M'R1:IS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter
set out; and
111HERE.AS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, hrkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owmers
of real property within said'-territory;
NOW, THIMFOF.E, BE IT OPd I. 11 y'D by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an iraproverwnt
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to-wit:
Lots 7 to 18, inclusive, Block 7;
All of Block 8;
All of Block 9 ;
Lots 1, 2 and 3, and Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, Block 10;
All in Fountain Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, tirkansas;
Lots 1, 2, 31 10, 11 and 12, Block 1;
Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 6;
All in Springdale Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 1, 2 and 3, in Normandy, An r"',ddition to
the City of Little Hock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering, in such
a manner and with such rlaterials as the commissioners to be elected
for said improvement district shall deem to be for the best interest
of said district, the following parts of the following streets in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Hayes Street from the north boundary line of
Highway 11o. 10 (Cantrell Road or � Street) to
the south boundary line of Kavanaugh Boulevard; and
Grant Street from the north boundary line of
Highway No. 10 (Cantrell Road or Street)to
the south boundary line of Kavanaugh Boulevard; and
R Street from the east boundary line of Hayes Street
to the west boundary line of Pierce Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property s.bove described,. provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Curb and Gutter.Improvement
District No. 572 , and Leon P. Fields, George T. LicPherson,
and B. F. Simpkins are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose
the Board of Improvement for said District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage •
